Cooking & Shopping

Create a Shopping ListEating healthy, tasty meals doesn’t have to be hard It just requires a little planning. For example:
  • Try to plan your meals at least several days in advance, so that you're not trying to create something at the last minute. This will help ensure that you have the right ingredients on hand.
  • Make a shopping list to take with you to the store. Don't do your food shopping when you're
hungry - this can be a trigger for buying items that aren't part of your meal plan.
  • If you’re going out for a meal and you’ve never been to the restaurant before, see if they post their menu online. That way, you can make your decision ahead of time so you’ll be less likely to choose something unhealthy when you’re ordering.
