“The physical activity in a diabetes program is extremely important. What Ive learned is that any activity is better than no activity.
“You can start small with 15 minutes a day, as long as you do it every day. It has to be consistent effort.”

“My physical regimen is changed to the extent that I just try to walk more as a basic mode of trans...both as a mode of transportation and just exercise at the end of the work day.
“I live near a beach in Boston, and I walk down to the beach and back. And, it just, it feels good to do. It reenergizes me. Its something I should have done anyway, diabetes or no diabetes.”
